Who we are

Inanna Consultancy is responsible for personal information provided in enquiries about our services. This notice covers this website and those enquiries. It does not cover the separate Iraq Monitor website or the handling of data within client research projects.

For privacy questions, contact contact@inannaconsultancy.com.

Information we receive

When you email us, we receive your email address, the name and organisation you provide, and your message and attachments. Providing this information is voluntary, although we need a way to contact you to respond.

When you visit the website, our hosting and security providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect the site. There are no enquiry forms or account registrations on this website.

How information is used

We use enquiry information to respond, discuss possible work and manage our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, that processing is necessary for those pre-contractual steps. Technical processing supports our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.

This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers

The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and security. Enquiry emails are handled through Namecheap Private Email. These providers process the information needed to supply their services.

Provider infrastructure may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their privacy information explains their processing and international transfer safeguards: OpenAI, Cloudflare and Namecheap. Contact us for information about the providers involved in your enquiry.

Cookies

We have not added advertising trackers or visitor analytics to this website. Cloudflare uses the security cookie __cf_bm to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Cloudflare may also set security cookies when checking a suspicious request.

These cookies support site security. You can block or remove cookies in your browser, although this may interrupt access. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for further details.

Retention

The retention of enquiry correspondence depends on whether a request is still active, whether it leads to an engagement, and any legal or record-keeping obligations that apply. Information is kept only for as long as needed for those purposes. Technical logs and security data follow the relevant provider’s retention arrangements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restrict its use, or request a portable copy. Email contact@inannaconsultancy.com to make a request.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including our handling of enquiry information, by contacting us at the same address.

You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Other websites and updates

Links to Iraq Monitor, The Washington Institute and other websites take you to services covered by their own privacy information. We update this notice when the way this website handles information changes; the revision date appears above.
